Google disclosed some impressive news about its Android Market in context to the turnaround statistics. The Android Market now provides a total of 38,000 free and paid applications.

Google's Android Market and its Android platform for mobile phones are radically gaining popularity among both smartphone users and developers. Yet it has to go a long way in order to catch up with Apple's iPhone app store.

Google also announced that its Nexus One smartphone is finally making profit as 60,000 Android devices are being sold and activated daily.
