Application Programmer- PHP

WS is currently looking for Application Programmer-PHP,someone who has a strong background in object-oriented PHP, MySQL, software engineering, design patterns, and Agile methodology. The ideal candidate is capable of problem solving and has superior communication skills.

Prior Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in Drupal / Magento / CakePHP / Shopify

Location: Kolkata (Rajarhat-New Town) / Remote

Requirements

• Coding experience in PHP/LAMP stack web site / application. 
• Must have worked in any of the MVC frameworks like Cake-PHP / Codeigniter / Symfony / Laravel. 
• Worked with PHP applications like Drupal, Wordpress,  Shopify, Magento
• Excellent in Mysql Query building, Writing Stored procedures and Mysql query optimizations. 
• Integration with social logins or any third party OAUTH2 protocols using REST API  
• Experience in working with JQUERY,JAVASCRIPT 
• Working experience in SVN, GIT

Preferred to Have :

• Working with Amazon storage services 
• Managing MYSQL environments,backups,etc 
• Expertise in front end technologies like (angularJS) is an added advantage 
• Experience with Wordpress and Drupal is a definite advantage 
• Knowledge of using the Linux command-line

Responsibility:

• Will be responsible for Product / application development. 
• Requirement clarification and converting the same to Technical design for the product. 
• Guide junior members. 
• Responsible for development and testing of the application / product. 
• Responding promptly and professionally to bug reports. 
• Review and repair legacy code. 
• Working closely with upper management. 
• Maintain client databases. 
• Maintain positive client interactions. 
• Design and Develop POCs, architectural frameworks, patterns, analytical frameworks supporting the product. 
• Design and develop independent modules on the product. 
• Research new technological enhancements in area of PHP and leveraging the benefits out of the same to the architectural enhancements of the product.
