Web Spiders is hiring an experienced Project Manager with a strong technology backbone and solid exposure to AI-driven solutions. You will lead the delivery of an AI-powered platform being built for a leading vertically integrated textile manufacturer – one of India’s most respected names in sustainable knitwear, serving global brands across 40+ countries. The platform covers the full design-to-proposal lifecycle: material inventory management, market and trend research, AI-powered collection design, customer collaboration, dynamic pricing, and automated proposal generation. This is a high-visibility engagement where you will be the bridge between a world-class engineering team and a sophisticated manufacturing client. Required Skills & Experience

• 4 – 8 years of overall industry experience with at least 4+ years in a Project Manager role managing software development projects.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, automation, digital transformation, and modern technology stacks (web applications, APIs, cloud infrastructure, databases, search engines).
• Ability to work across multiple technology domains – web, cloud, data pipelines, ERP systems, AI/ML services, and third-party integrations.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies – sprint planning, user stories, backlog grooming, sprint demos, and retrospectives.
• Excellent stakeholder management, client communication, and team leadership skills. Comfortable managing a cross-functional team of 8–10 across engineering, QA, design, and data science.
• Strong analytical abilities – able to understand complex business processes, data flows, and translate them into clear technical requirements and project plans.
• Experience managing fixed-timeline, milestone-based deliveries with clear scope and change management processes.
• Proven ability to manage third-party tool/vendor coordination, infrastructure planning, and delivery dependencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of a multi-module AI-powered platform – from project kickoff through development, testing, UAT, and production deployment.
• Work closely with the client’s business teams to understand their manufacturing processes, operational workflows, and business objectives – and translate these into actionable project requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams: Tech Lead, developers, AI/ML engineers, data engineers, QA, and designers. Ensure alignment, remove blockers, and maintain delivery velocity.
• Own project planning, sprint execution, milestone tracking, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication. Run regular sprint demos and stakeholder reviews.
• Manage scope rigorously – document change requests with effort and impact assessment. Ensure scope changes are properly evaluated and approved before execution.
• Ensure project quality, risk mitigation, and adherence to delivery timelines. Proactively identify and escalate risks.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the client – managing expectations, milestone sign - offs, progress reporting, and escalations.
• Coordinate third-party tool procurement, cloud infrastructure setup, and subscription management.
• Drive continuous improvement – identify opportunities for automation, AI adoption, and process optimisation within the client’s workflows
