Drupal Developer

We are looking for a skilled Drupal Developer with 2–5 years of experience to join our growing team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Drupal development along with exposure to modern AI-assisted coding tools. In this role, you will be responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and secure web applications while leveraging AI tools to improve development efficiency.

Requirements

• Engineering degree from a reputed institution with strong academic rigor
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in Drupal development (Drupal 8/9/10)
• Strong proficiency in PHP programming
• Familiarity or hands-on experience with AI-powered coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex)
• Experience in Drupal theming using Twig
• Working knowledge of Drupal module development
• Experience with Composer, Drush, and Git
• Good understanding of MySQL/MariaDB databases
• Understanding of responsive web design principles
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices (preferred)
• Acquia/Drupal certification or Drupal Commerce experience is a plus
• Experience with CSS preprocessors like SASS/LESS (preferred)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain websites and web applications using Drupal CMS
• Design and implement custom Drupal modules and themes
• Configure and optimize Drupal websites for performance, security, and scalability
• Utilize AI-powered tools (Claude Code, Codex) to accelerate development, debug issues, and enhance productivity
• Perform Drupal upgrades, migrations, and version management
• Integrate third-party services and APIs into Drupal applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and cross-functional teams
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Document technical specifications, workflows, and development processes
• Stay updated with Drupal best practices and emerging technologies
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and quality benchmarks
